Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Overview

Tracey Alexander (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Buzz-Free Business website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our site or use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Contact information - name and email address when you sign up for lists, request worksheets, or use our contact form.
  • Message content - the topic and message you send through our contact form.
  • Preferences - which worksheets you request, which lists you join (e.g., Midweek Clarity Check, Pre-order list), and course waitlist selections.

We do not collect payment information on this site. All transactions are handled by third-party retailers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send you the worksheets, content, or updates you requested.
  • Respond to your inquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • Deliver email newsletters and list communications you signed up for.
  • Notify you when pre-order links or courses become available.
  • Improve our website and offerings.

4. Ask Tracey Usage Data

When you use Ask Tracey, we store the questions you ask along with basic context (such as your subscriber ID, timestamp, and topic tags). We use this data to:

  • Operate and improve Ask Tracey (quality, accuracy, and the buzz-tip matching system).
  • Understand what founders are working through, so we can build better tools, content, and programs inside Buzz-Free Business.

We analyze aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve Ask Tracey and grow Buzz-Free Business. We may share aggregate trends publicly (for example, "the most common questions founders ask in their first 90 days"), but never individual questions, identifying details, or personal data.

Your individual questions are never sold, never published, and never shared with third parties except the AI provider strictly required to generate your response.

Currently, Ask Tracey uses Google's Gemini models via the Lovable AI Gateway. The AI provider processes your question to generate a response but does not use your data to train their models.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a single local storage item (intro_unlocked) to remember whether you have already unlocked the free introduction on our site. This is stored in your browser only and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies at this time.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Lovable / Supabase - our backend and database provider, which hosts your data securely.
  • Email service providers - used to send transactional emails (worksheet delivery, confirmations) and list communications. All emails include an unsubscribe link.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. If you unsubscribe from a list, we will remove you from active communications and may retain a suppression record to prevent accidental re-addition.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@buzzfreebusiness.com.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database hosting, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children's Privacy

Our site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
